What's New for 2025?

The GridRival team has been hard at work preparing the game for an exciting season! Here's a list of the major updates we've made.

GridRival - Official Fantasy App of INDYCAR

WE'RE NOW THE OFFICIAL FANTASY APP FOR INDYCAR!

  • As of this year, GridRival has become the official Season Long Fantasy Sports app for INDYCAR! With that comes INDYCAR fantasy leagues, and everyone who joins any INDYCAR fantasy league will be automatically entered into their Fantasy Challenge Game and eligible to win prizes based on their location. Please refer to the Fantasy Challenge rules for more information.

PAID GAMES

  • Larger Referral Bonuses!
    For a limited time, we have increased our referral bonus for paid users to $25! If you are a verified player and invite your friend to play GridRival's Picks game, you will receive $25 when they make their first deposit of at least $10.

  • New Design
    We redesigned our Picks game from the ground up to make it more user-friendly and easier to navigate between sports, types of picks, and entries.

  • Easier Depositing
    A ground-up overhaul of our depositing process will make first-time depositing and re-depositing simpler and smoother.

  • Easier to Share Picks
    In addition to increasing our referral bonuses for paid users, we have also made sharing your promo code for Picks with friends easier. After making your first deposit, simply click the "Refer & Earn" button at the top of your screen.

  • Allowing Correlated Picks
    Starting this season, we will allow players to make entries in which one or more Picks correlate. Previously, all correlated Picks were blocked. Entries that involve correlation will have a reduced potential payout multiple.

  • Deprecated Daily Fantasy and NASCAR Fantasy Matchups
    Based on the activity we saw for our Salary Cap Daily Fantasy Games and Season Long Fantasy Matchups, we have sunsetted those products for now. Fantasy Matchups is likely to return when we feel prepared to put a much larger effort behind it.

LEAGUES

  • UI Changes
    We made several minor user interface changes to the leagues game to make navigating it easier.

  • New NASCAR Salary Models & Points
    We made some significant changes to the formula we used to adjust driver salaries after each race in NASCAR, which will keep the driver field spread out more during the season. Please take a look at the formulas here if you are interested.

  • Improvement Point Resets
    For leagues that use Improvement Points, we came up with a simpler way to score improvement points at the start of each season. See the updates here.
